JB Nelson Families,

Thank you to all of the families that attended our Reading Night on Tuesday! We had high turnout and we hope that everyone enjoyed the Changemakers activities.  If you have any of the books at home, please send them back to school with your child so they can be used again!

Our PTO sponsored Food drive went really well this week! Thank you to all of you who sent in donations. It was great to see so many students being “Changemakers” and bringing them in all week. Our K Kids club is helping to count and pack up these donations and the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry will pick them up after school today!

We have heard from many of the veterans that attended our Veterans day event last Friday and we wanted to share this video of the performances in case any family members were unable to attend.

Next week is a short week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Students will only attend school on Monday and Tuesday and then we will be off the rest of the week.

A separate Messenger was sent out to families about Trimester Reflections. Those will be available in Powerschool on Tuesday. Please follow the directions in the email to look at them and follow up with your child’s teacher if you have any questions.

Have a wonderful weekend and we will see you on Monday!

~Mrs. Prentiss
