All students K-5 completed their Fall MAP assessment this week. We will use this data along with AIMS and classroom data to help teachers guide their instruction and support students in learning and growing. BPS Strategic Plan Priority 1, Strategy 3-Personalized Learning Pathways
If you watched my Principal’s Message video a couple weeks ago then you heard me talk about changes in our party planning this year. In order to have consistent party experiences and to put less pressure on parent volunteers, the PTO put together a committee and they are planning S.T.E.A.M. related parties for Fall (on Halloween), Winter (day before break), and End (Friday May 16th) of year class parties!
This means that if you sign up to help with these parties, you no longer are responsible for planning the activities, purchasing the materials, or coordinating with the teachers. You will sign up on the PTO website, be given a training session in a Google Meet and the materials will be purchased and prepped for you. There will be 4 volunteer slots for each class for each party. Next Friday we will share the themes for each grade and the date and time for sign up’s online. S.T.E.M. Club Info
This is a fun way for students to explore science, math and engineering. We will meet before school in the LRC from 7:45-8:45. Students can sign up for either fall OR spring S.T.E.M. club. Each session will last three consecutive weeks where students will work on a fun S.T.E.M. project.
Grades 3-5 Fall S.T.E.M. club: October 9, 16, 23.
Grades K-2 Fall S.T.E.M. club:November 6, 13, and 20.
Grades 3-5 Spring S.T.E.M. club: February 5, 12, and 19.
Grades K-2 Spring S.T.E.M. club: February 26, March 5 and 12.
Next Tuesday is our next PTO meeting in the LRC at 6:30.

BPS Strategic Plan Priority 2, Strategy 4-Family & Community Partnerships The PTO will meet in the LRC at 6:30PM on: August 6th September 3rd October 1st November 12th December 10th January 14th February 11th March 11th April 8th Meetings are in the LRC and childcare is provided.
