JB Nelson Families,
Thank you to all who have donated to the Batavia Mothers Club winter coat/gear drive. The bin will be picked up today, we appreciate your support for families in need.
Tomorrow the JBN PTO will host our annual “Trunk or Treat” event in the back parking lot of the school. This is a free flow event that runs from 2:00-3:30. There is no charge for this event, families are invited to wear their costumes and get some free candy!
Halloween is coming! As you shop for your child’s costume please keep in mind that fake blood and fake weapons are not allowed at school on Halloween day. We are going to hold our parties first and our parade at the end of the day this year. All parents are invited to stand along the parade route outside and take pictures of their students. The parade will be at 3:10 and the students will get ready to dismiss and leave at 3:30! If it rains, parents will be invited into the Gym to watch the parade. We hope that by making the parade later, this allows more parents to attend the parade.

Meetings are in the LRC and childcare is provided.
The PTO plans ALL JBN family events for the school year.
