Getting Ready to Start the 2024.25 School Year!
JB Nelson Families,
We are getting close to starting the 2024.25 school year on Wednesday, August 14th.
Today, starting at 9:00, all parents can log in to their Parent Portal in Powerschool and view their child’s teacher. As we are preparing for our year to begin, I wanted to share a couple important upcoming events with you.
The district purchased all school supplies and is delivering them directly to classrooms so there is no longer a need for parents to purchase supplies or to attend a “Supply Drop Off” at the school. However, we still want to welcome everyone back to school and let them meet their new teachers.

Over the summer our student bathrooms have been updated and all of our hallways have been repainted so we are excited to invite you into the building!

Parents will not be allowed to escort their children to classrooms on the first day of school, so we hope you can join us for this event and meet your child’s new teacher. This is a great “photo op” as well!
