Principal’s Message
JB Nelson Families, We had really strong attendance at our Open House event on Wednesday night. Thank you to all families that attended and participated in this event! All teachers sent out their Open House videos/slides last Friday so that you could preview them before the event. Below you will see the Open House information from our “Specials” team; Art, Music, PE and LRC. Please review these when the time works for you and let us know if you have any questions! Each trimester, the “Specials” team will create and share their own newsletter. This gives all families an idea of what their children have been learning and creating when they attend Art, Music, PE and the LRC. To view the first trimester newsletter, click here! My Annual Principal Open House video is still being finalized and will be sent next week! We are now in need of two paraprofessionals to support our students with academic and social emotional needs every day M-F from 8:40-3:40. If you are interested, or know someone who might be, please reach out to me directly: nicole.prentiss@bps101.net so we can get them hired A.S.A.P.! We hope you enjoy your weekend and we will see you on Monday! ~Mrs. Prentiss |
